High Fructose Corn Syrup - The Silent Killer

You may be one of the people who have witnessed the advertisements of high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) on the television lately. It is being portrayed as a healthy additive to any diet when it is actually total crap.

Where these infomercials trick you is they don't directly suggest that HFCS is healthy. Instead, they do what is called 'subliminal messaging/advertising' that makes you come to your personal conclusion that HFCS is healthy for you. Examples of different subliminal messages they claim are:

No more calories than table sugar


Its natural
No worse than processed (table) sugar
Is a product of corn

It is these kinds of subliminal messages that don't claim anything is beneficial but instead lead you to perceive that there isn't anything unhealthy' about them, persuading you to believe they are healthy. Complete nonsense.

As it already stands, obesity is an epidemic sweeping the nation, as well as other diseases related to blood pressure and sugar levels (diabetes, heart disease&) and having false advertising for a food additive only adds to the problem and doesn't help anyone. These corporations are playing on the innocence and 'naiveness' of the American public convincing them HFCS is healthy while reaping the profits and watching us suffer the consequences.

Going back to their argument that it is no worse than sugar, how does that even make sense? You don't even have to scratch the surface to understand that sugar isn't good for you, at all. It is one of the worst things you're body can ingest!

The most significant thing you need to understand is to achieve a healthy lifestyle and lean muscle you should constantly be reducing your sugar and HFCS intakes. To achieve natural results you need to be completely natural, meaning if you are serious about achieving lean optimal health you should eliminate all processed foods from your diet.

And stating HFCS is natural? Well how can something that is a processed refined sugar be natural? That beats the crap out of me. It's false, not true, bull crap. All processed sugars do is make you obese!

I'll leave you questioning how your diet really is. The next time you eat that sugary candy, can of pop, or cookies think about how the processed sugar is working entirely against your labours to lose weight and trim down your body!
